Now I cannot give you medical advice in this format but keep in mind that hospitals have the unique task to screen for more serious life threatening injuries or illnesses. Although, whiplash can cause significant pain and disability, generally there are few x-ray findings. Whiplash is a soft tissue injury and has been shown in recent research to cause future pain and degenerative arthritis if not treated. This condition responds well to chiropractic treatment and massage.
